Today was Brookelyn's first visit to the Dentist. She was a little nervous because she thought that the Dentist was going to pull out her teeth . I informed her along with her Aunt Shellene (who is a dental assistant) that the Dentist will be very kind and he won't be pulling out any teeth today. Shellene explained to Brooke everything that the Dentist was going to do and that she will learn a lot and have a good time. Thanks Shellene for putting her mind at ease. By the time we pulled up to the Dentist office Brookelyn was excited to see the Dentist and couldn't wait for her new toothbrush and bag full of goodies( toothbrush, floss, stickers)!!
She did really well and I am so proud of her, because to this day I am terrified of the Dentist. They took some x-ray's of her teeth and showed them to her. The x-ray's were pretty cool to see, because underneath her baby teeth are her big girl teeth waiting to come in. I was really fascinated with them more so than she was!
Today at the Dentists office Brooke had her teeth looked at and she had them brushed and she got to see all the objects they were putting in her mouth. She got to touch the different tools and see how they all worked. She had a good time and the staff was so friendly and good to her. The Dentist said that her teeth looked good, there are no little bugs in them and that she was a very good little patient!!

Yeah I'm with you i'm not fond of going to the dentist! She is such a doll!
The first trip is always exciting:) After that the excitement is gone and than you have to beg the kids to go:( She is such a cutie!!
