Last night I was awaken by Trey screaming at 2:00 a.m. I went to check on him to make sure he was OK. After checking on him I heard Brookelyn getting a drink of water. I met her on the stairs and then proceeded to put her to bed. After pleading with me to let her sleep in my room we finally went to her room and I laid by her for a little while. Ten minutes of laying next to her in silence and me ready to go back to my bed because I believed she was asleep, I hear this little voice......
Brookelyn: Mama, what is the Presidents name?
Me: What?
Brookelyn: What is the Presidents name?
Me: The President of the Church or the President of the United States?
Brookelyn: The President of the United States of America.
Me: Barack Obama
Brookelyn: Oh, that's right, Barack Obama.... I forgot!!
That is my girl.... always thinking even if it is 2:00 in the morning!! I wanted to remember this so I could put it on my blog, because it is not everyday that I get asked that question by my 4 year old and definitely not at 2:00 in the morning!!
