My FiRsT kISs!!

So last night Brookelyn had the little neighbor boy over and they were in her play room playing. I went to check on them and to my surprise they were up to something. In checking on them they acted very weird when I asked what they were up to. They both just laughed and smiled a mysterious smile. After sending her playmate home because it was dinner time and bath time I sat Brookelyn down and asked her what the two of them were up to. After a couple of minutes she hesitantly informed me with a smile.... kissing!! I tried staying calm and collected and continued with the interrogation. In the process I had visions of the future and what it was going to be like talking to her about boys and such.... oh my goodness I am not ready for that. So my little girl and I had a long talk and after convincing her that boy's have cooties and that she is way too young to be kissing anybody but her daddy she finally understood. She told me she wouldn't do it again... at least until she was taller and older at age 5 years old (her exact words to me.) Well, I felt better after our little talk and last night as I put Brookelyn to bed I rocked her in my arms and held her tight. I can't believe that my little girl is growing up so fast!! I hope I don't have to have a talk like that for a long time at least until she is 30!!
