ReWindiNg thE cLOck..... beWaRe iMAgE ovErLoaD

So before we left Orem to move out here there were a few important events that took place that I was not able to post for various reasons..... so here I go rewinding the clock to share with each of you!!

Brookelyn's last day of gymnastics and Preschool....

On Brooke's last day, I was able to sit in and observe all the things that she has been learning. To my amazement, she has done so well and has improved tremendously. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw all the things she was able to do ( hand-stands, straddle jumps, walking the beam, following instructions, stretching, the bars and flips). She did so well and I am so proud of her and all her hard work and dedication!

Brookelyn is in the black leotard.

This one is kind of hard to see, but there she is doing a straddle jump in black.

Walking on the beam... look how high that beam is off the ground!

Brookelyn and her classmates with their teacher Miss Heidi

Brookelyn sure is going to miss her fit by 5 class and learning. She really has enjoyed Preschool and taking gymnastics.
She can now spell her name, and write her and Trey's name. She knows every letter in the alphabet and can write each letter. She can count to twenty and to ten in Spanish. She knows all her colors and almost all of her shapes. She knows what # to call in case of an emergency and enjoys showing me on my phone.  She is so smart. It is crazy to think that my little four year old is getting so big and growing up so fast. It is so fun to see her learn and actually grasp the things that she is being taught.  Nate and I are very proud parents.

Easter

This year we celebrated Easter on Saturday in Delta with family. We have never been to Delta for Easter so it was a fun experience.

When the kids woke up on Saturday morning it was so fun for them to see what the Easter bunny had left for them in their baskets. They got a lot of fun stuff and mounds and mounds of candy.... thank you Easter bunny for all the great gifts and yummy candy (I will send you a bill in the mail from the Dentist later).

After going through baskets we all got dressed to go to the early morning Easter egg hunt at the park that the town put on for the community. The weather was overcast and quite cold, but the kids had a lot of fun and found a few eggs. Brooke held her own as she ran with the older kids for eggs.

As for Trey, this was his first egg hunt and he actually found more than Brooke with a little help from his mom.

We enjoy celebrating Easter and it brings Nate and I much joy to see our children's faces as they wake up to their baskets and become so overjoyed by the small and simple things.

We loved spending Easter in Delta this year and we are excited to celebrate many more there in the year's to come.
