Trey is 16 months already... I cannot believe it!!
He is my little monkey man who is into everything
and is quite the little "Curious George!!
You are quite the handful at this age... you are always keeping
me on my toes... literally!!
I sat down to take a break the
other day and I couldn't see or hear you so I
got up to look for you and I found you in your closet with
your diaper opened and you sitting there playing
in your messy diaper... yes, that did happen and YES, that was
very disgusting!!
All you did when I freaked out, was laugh and smile that Big Beautiful
SMILE!!
You are a happy boy and you constantly are
smiling. You get compliments all
the time about how happy you are!!
Your favorite toy is Sissy's "Tea Set", now you don't
really play with it that much you more so like to dump
it out everywhere and have me pick it up.
I have gotten you to help clean it up on many occasions though.
At night I sing "I am a Child of God" to you.
It is our nightly
ritual. Without fail,
when I start singing you lay on my shoulder and start to
close your
eyes and automatically (like a button was pushed)
are ready for bed.
Just recently you have joined in
singing with Sister and I... it is really sweet!!
You are teething at the current moment
and you have quite a few teeth....
14 to be exact!!
Your favorite snacks and foods
are: pickles, grapes, graham crackers,
goldfish, strawberries,
mac & cheese, yogurt, saltine crackers, string cheese,
granola bars and
you enjoy sucking down capri sun's.
Your are all boy through and through.
You love balls, (football, baseball, soccer ball,
basketball) and you love to throw them,
chew on them and kick them. It is really cute
to see you back up, have us count to 3 and
on 3 you run
up to the soccer ball and kick it!! You are
pretty good... I think you are going to be
a Soccer Player!!
You are in size 4 diapers, 12 mo. clothes
and size 5 shoes. You are growing
like a little weed!!
You enjoy climbing in the dishwasher.
You also help me empty the dishwasher...
you are such a big helper!!
Your new found adventure is
climbing on the dining chairs and table.
I get very nervous when I catch you
doing this.
You and your sister are best friends,
but you two also fight with each
other all the time.
You are quite the fighter...
pinching, pulling, scratching, slapping and hitting are
your self-defense mechanisms.
You can hold your own when
it comes to protecting yourself.
You love bath time, and know exactly
when it is time to take a bath. You splash
and do belly flops in the tub.... it is HILARIOUS!!
The moments that I love and look forward to
is every morning waking up
to you and Brookie. Brookelyn wakes
up from you crying and then
lifts you out of your bed and you both come
a running into our room just a talking and smiling!!
I lift you onto the bed and you lay
on my stomach, just the four of us... together!!
I also love when you say
"Mom , Mama, and Mum"...
like music to my ears!!
Your little hugs and kisses are
so precious and you
are giving them more frequently now.
Moments like these..... Priceless!!
Trey you are such a blessing to our family,
and we love you so much!!
Everyday you do something that either
makes us laugh, smile, or look at you
in awe.
Everyday is a new adventure with you!!
We love you Trey!!

What a cute post Brit. I loved reading all about Trey. There were lots of things I didn't know about him and it made me feel even closer to him than I already do. I love that he does belly flops in the tub. I want to see that. I do agree that he is always so happy..... and, about the diaper... so nasty.
Wow that diaper thing is definately gross...I hope jaxon doesnt pick up on that, but I am sure it will happen lol. Trey is sure cute!

This is awsome to read about the kids and how much they are growing...too fast at that too! I can see where he's your lit'l monkee man...the kids are both so cute and precious...enjoy reading your posts...
