While visiting Grandma and Grandpa in Delta,
Brookelyn and I decided to spend
some time outside
because the weather was so nice.
Among the beautiful warm weather, green grass and
smell of flowers in the air, Grandma had a a flower bed
full of fluttering butterflies.
They were so pretty and everywhere.... there were 100's of them!!
Trying to impress my little girl I told her to watch her mom
in action as I tried capturing one of them with my bare hands.
After a couple of tries I finally caught one by cupping it in my fist.
Brookelyn was fascinated!! She proceeded to tell me
that she wanted to try..... so I coached her on how to do it.
She went into action and slowly crept up on one
and with cat-like reflexes she caught one by the wings.....
How did she do that??
She showed me with great excitement
her accomplishment... I was shocked!!
I then asked her to show me how she did
that....
she then became the teacher
and I became the student.
She amazes me everyday!!
