We had such a busy and fun summer that I have to mention very briefly all the events that took place... Here goes!!

We lived in Eden Prairie, Minnesota this summer for Nate's job and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves there. Minnesota was beautiful and the weather was perfect.
The kids enjoyed going to the sand pool, playing with friends at the park and going swimming.
I enjoyed running on all the many trails there and going to the park with the kids. I also enjoyed hanging out with all of the other wives there and making new friends. Going to the mall and shopping was always a must.  Also, pizza night once a week with all of the wives and their kids was always a blast!!
Nate enjoyed working, working and more working.... sorry Babe summers aren't that fun for you.

*Fourth of July*

On the 3rd of July the family flew into Salt Lake City just so
we could celebrate our Nations birthday in Delta, Utah.
If any of you have not had the chance to spend the Fourth in Delta.....
you are missing out!! They do it BIG TIME there.
The morning of the Fourth we started out with a 5K at 6:30 a.m.
So needless to say we had to be up early at 5:30
just to make it to the race.
Way too early, but it was a lot of fun and the weather was perfect.
I was also able to break the record for the girls time,
so I was pretty excited about that.
Sorry, no pictures, but probably better this way I
wouldn't want to see me that early in the morning either.

9:30-10:00 a.m.
Was the parade and it was an awesome parade.
It started off with a fly over by four U.S. Air Force Jets, which is Nate's absolute favorite part of the whole day.
He is a very Patriotic person and lives for that experience!!

Brookelyn and Trey enjoyed the parade and
was in Heaven with all of the candy that was
thrown at them during the parade.
Brookelyn wasn't afraid of the parade this year... she is
making really great strides! Trey was so excited and
fascinated with the parade. I loved watching the both of them get so excited and chase
after the candy and wave at
all the creative floats that
went by.

Afterwards, we made our way to the park where all
the booths, food, bounce houses, and program took place.
Brookelyn enjoyed herself at the blow up slide and
Trey hung out with Dad.

Later that day after lunch, naps and spending time with
family we had a BBQ and made our way
to the fireworks. The fireworks were a huge hit
with Trey and Brookelyn. Trey was fascinated with
all of the bright colors and loud booms.

We love the Fourth of July!!

*Lake Powell*

On the 5th of July Nate's parents took
all of the kids to Lake Powell on
a houseboat for a week. It was a tough
decision but Nate and I decided to
leave our kids home with my parents.
We felt that that would be the safest
and smartest thing to do.
We had such a
blast!!

We water skiied, jet skiied, knee boarded,
wake boarded and went tubing.
We slept under the stars and sun bathed all
day. We had amazing food and snacks and just
relaxed and took it easy for the week.

This was my first time going to Powell
and definitely not my last!! What a wonderful week!!

Thanks, Dan and Lori for an amazing trip!!
