GeTtInG rEaDy fOR ChRIsTMas

I love Christmas time and the spirit it brings into our home!! There is something about the Christmas Holiday and the JOY, LOVE and Warmth  that is in the air!! Oh how I love the Christmas Holiday, my favorite is having all my decorations up and sitting in the dark with the Christmas tree lights on and listening to Alabama Christmas.... it sure does bring back childhood memories, and it is fun making these new memories and traditions with my new little family!!

This year we were in a new home for Christmas and it was fun decorating and celebrating Christmas cheer there. The kids enjoyed helping dad and I put the tree up and decorate it. We also had fun shopping for the kids' annual Christmas ornament, after finding them the kids got to put them on the tree. 

We finally got to set up our Willow Tree Nativity scene for the first time since we received it a couple of years ago. It was beautiful and the kids enjoyed observing it and had a hard time not touching the stable animals and the angel.

This is the ornament that both Brookelyn and Trey got as there annual ornament, of course it said take sister on Trey's ornament.... we had a pretty good laugh.... very fitting for this year!!








This year we tried to not focus so much on the presents, but the true meaning of Christmas!! I read a saying somewhere that I absolutely loved. It said something like this: The true meaning of Christmas is not all about the presents, but it is all about his PRESENCE!! I couldn't agree more!!
