Our family got together with some good friends the Schwabs'
and made Gingerbread houses over the Holidays!
We had a blast and had some good food
and lots and lots of candy!!
The kids had a lot of fun building their
houses and eating all the candy and frosting.

The men had a lot of fun being creative
and using their imaginations.
They came up with different things to put on their houses....
they had a flag, a bike rider, double doors,
mail boxes and very sturdy roofs.
Needless to say, they were very proud of their houses
and actually did a really good job!!

Thanks Schwab Family for a fun-filled night!!

Temple Lights

Our little family also had the opportunity
to go to the Salt Lake Temple to see the temple lights.
We went with two of  Nate's sisters and their spouses.
This was my first time seeing the temple grounds during the holidays.
It was a cold night, but worth it because of all the
beautiful Nativity scenes throughout the grounds and all the lights.
We also got to go inside the visitor's center which the kids have never done before. Trey and Brookelyn got to see the statue of the Savior
and it was neat because Trey pointed to the
statue and said "Jesus".... it was very sweet.
