Living in Texas has been quite an experience!! We are truly enjoying it here!! We hate being away from our families, but what amazing memories we are making!! We had the opportunity to go to a MLB game while living here. We went and saw the Houston Astros play against the Boston Red Sox..... Go Red Sox!! It was a lot of fun even though we were in the nose bleed section. By the way, The Red Sox won!!
This is Trey's first MLB game..... he and dad are in their happy place!!
Funny story, I hope I do not offend anybody with this story, I am sorry if I do, it is not intended that way.
After the game we were walking towards our car and Brookelyn was piddle paddling behind us and I finally turn around to see what she is doing, and she comes running up to me with a huge smile. She says to me...
Brookelyn- "Mom I saw a pidget"
Me- "A pigeon"
Brookelyn- "No mom a pidget"
I turn around looking for a pigeon somewhere and sure enough, about 25 feet in front of me is a Midget getting in a carriage for a horse carriage ride. I finally knew what she was saying.... a midget!!
Brookelyn- "Mom they are so dang cute."
Now to set this story up, Brookelyn and I they day before watched a documentary on the Discovery channel about midgets and how their bodies grow and develop. It was very interesting. Also, later that night we were flipping through the channels and saw the reality tv show "Little people, Big world." So she is very fascinated with midgets and just thinks that they are absolutely the cutest people!!
