Growing up we didn't make too many sweets so when it comes to baking cookies, cinnamon rolls and other yummy treats I don't do it that often..... I know my poor family you say, but I am working on it. This year I attempted one of my favorite cookies... sugar cookies. They actually turned out really yummy!! I even made my own homemade frosting. The frosting was a little runny, but still pretty good. At least next time I will know what not to do. Brookelyn and I had a lot of fun making them together with all the fun little cookie cutters that we had bought. She especially loved the gingerbread man cookie cutter. It is always fun doing little activities with Brookelyn.... she is my little helper. Look out Betty Crocker here we come. Brookelyn decorating her cookies!
