DeAr SaNtA..... i HaVeN't BeEn NaUgHtY bUt I sUre hAvE bEeN nICe!!

It has been so much fun getting into the Christmas spirit!! I love seeing my children's face when they see Christmas lights or a beautifully decorated tree or home. Going to the mall is always a treat with Santa and Mrs. Claus there. Our favorite is watching all the fun Christmas shows that they play all month long. Brookelyn loves the Santa Claus one and two. She watched the Grinch last night I think she can relate, her daddy is a bah humbug this time of year.

To get into the Holiday spirit and to follow our traditions, the other day we took Brooke to Macy's. At Macy's they have a station set up for children to write letters to Santa Claus. Brookelyn sat down at a big office desk and wrote Santa Claus a letter and stuck a stamp on it and mailed it off in a big red mailbox that said Santa's mail on it. She had so much fun writing and mailing off her letter and I enjoyed helping her write the letter to Santa. Not to mention, after many attempts to find out exactly what she wants for Christmas, I finally have an idea. I probably won't be able to get her the apartment or house with walls she asked for or the dishwasher, but I think I can manage the rest. By the way, I don't know why she asked for those things.... she makes it sound like we have been living in a cardboard box with no running water. What happened to a doll or a dollhouse? Oh this is what Christmas is all about, Merry Christmas everybody!!
