Our adventures in Lone Tree continued when we went to

Hammonds candy factory for the day

to see how candy was made.

The kids were so excited to go here

not just to witness candy being made,

but to actually buy the candy and eat it afterwards!!

When we arrived at the factory and walked into the front

doors the sweet aroma of peppermint

completely took over my senses....

it was heavenly!!

We were given delivery hats and taken on a tour of the factory.

We got to watch a small film on the history

of Hammonds and how the candy is actually made.

Then from there we were taken in the back where

we got to see all the workers busy at work in all the different

stages of making candy.... pretty cool!!

We had a great day at Hammonds!!

We left with some fun hats and a bag

full of candy!!

Belleview Park

One afternoon our little family went to Belleview Park

and had such a fun day spending quality time together.

Here are the fun things we were able to do that day:

{Picnic in the park}

{Train ride}

{Petting zoo}

{and some good ol' fashioned cow milking}
